TeleRehabilitation

This type of physiotherapy is done online via. web conferencing. Essentially it is like using Skype or FaceTime with your friends and family, but with me - your trusted physiotherapist.

We can still accomplish a lot with this type of treatment and it has proven successful again and again. You can be assessed, educated, supported and exercises can be regressed and progressed.

Heeeeyyyyyy 👋

Hi! I’m Stephanie Bourbeau—owner and the one-woman physiotherapy team behind Surge Physiotherapy.

I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 10 years, and I’m passionate about helping people move, feel, and live better. Orthopaedic physio is my main jam, but I also enjoy the challenge of Concussion and Vestibular rehab. I’m certified in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and I’m currently working toward my Clinical Mat Pilates certification. I’ve completed additional training in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, TMJ treatment, and C-section preparation and recovery—and I’m always excited to keep expanding my skill set.

I earned my Master of Health Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa (2015) and my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McGill University (2013).

My approach is warm, supportive, and teamwork-focused—I love creating customized, evidence-informed treatment plans that help clients build confidence and long-lasting progress.

When I’m not treating clients, I’m either outdoors exploring, sweating it out on the Peloton, doing Pilates or lifting weights—and come winter, I’m happily cross-country skiing. Otherwise, I’m with my favourite crew: my husband, two kids, and our dog, Ruby 🐶
